21 Day Morning Ritual Challenge! Are you up for it?

I wanted to share with you today a new Morning Ritual

Janak and I are implementing to stay focused, on track and revitalized.

I would like for you to join me on this 21 day Morning Ritual Challenge!

I’ve read a few books lately talking about Morning Routines and they really set the tone of the day.

For this 21 Day Challenge, you would basically do the following upon waking:

  • 10 minutes Meditating

  • 5 minutes on Mental Rehearsal

  • 5 minutes of Goal Writing

  • 5 minutes of Gratitude

  • 10-20 minutes Exercising

  • 10 minutes of Reading

To clarify:

Spend 10 minutes Meditating in a manner that suits you

(I’ve been doing this for consistently for about a year, and it’s truly so nourishing for mind and body).

Spend 5 minutes doing Mental Rehearsal and Visualization of your ideal YOU (what you look like, how you act, where you live etc)

Spend 5-10 minutes writing out your goals into an allocated notebook (I recommend just 4-6 short to long term goals for each major area of your life), while listening to upbeat music to anchor positive emotion to your goals.

Spend 5 minutes writing out what You Are Grateful For in your life. A fun way to stay focused on all the good that you have in your life.

Spend 10-20 minutes exercising (modify to suit you) – if you prefer to work out at lunchtime or the evening, I advise still spending 10 minutes on SOME or ANY form of movement, be that stretching, sun salutations, or a series of squats or pushups! Anything to get your blood pumping…

Spend 10 minutes reading a book of value i.e Non-Fiction. I recommend self-help/personal development/Business/Mindset orientated books.

Right now I am personally re-reading The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz for my 10 minutes of reading in the morning.

It’s one of my all time favorite books to develop a personal philosophy.

Some teachings are a bit new-agey, but there is also some real life-changing philosophies in there, so I recommend you check it out!


So, all in all, you’re spending an extra 45 minutes or so in the morning FOCUSING on your personal growth and replenishing your mind and your body.

It may sound like a lot, but trust me; once you get into this routine you WILL LOVE IT!

Not to sound too ‘woo-woo’, but this routine is like a warm hug to your soul!

Even my husband loves this routine. We both feel like we are doing things of value, all before breakfast!

You will probably have to wake up a bit earlier to get this in BUT I guarantee you will reap and enjoy the rewards….and be well on your way to Escaping the Photocopy Life!

So I ask you to join me for this 21 day Morning Ritual Challenge, with the ultimate goal to carry this on for all time 🙂
